2019 Kia Stinger

The powerful, fastback sport sedan carries over into the 2019 model year, maintaining head-turning design, premium amenities and heart-pounding power.

From its sleek front clip through its svelte flanks, and up to its powerful haunches, the Stinger exudes a muscular confidence. Key to its road presence are the rear-wheel-drive proportions; a long hood and short front overhang, an extended wheelbase to deliver a spacious cabin, and a long rear overhang with strong shoulders.

The wide front and rear track, along with the recessed contours along the doors, enhance the visual power of the Stinger's shoulder line as well as its fastback silhouette.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Theta II engine produces 255 horsepower and max torque of 260 lb.-ft. is available from 1,400 to 4,000 rpm. Performance credentials are further enhanced through the available 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, producing about 365 horsepower and torque of 376 lb.-ft. The Stinger features an eight-speed rear-drive automatic transmission.

New for 2019, Kia adds available convenience technologies such as wireless phone charging, rear outboard heated seats, Surround View Monitor, as well as expanded availability of front ventilated seats.

Rear-wheel drive GT trims receive a limited-slip differential. Meanwhile, the new Sun and Sound package available on the Stinger 2.0 adds sunroof, navigation with 8-inch touchscreen, Harman/Kardon 720-watt audio with ClariFi technology and 15 speakers, as well as LED headlamps.

Blind Spot Collision Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Warning are now standard across all trims, while a host of additional Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are now standard on the Premium, GT1 and GT2 trims.
